Mobile units deployed to ensure food cleanliness in Thailand

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has launched a mobile unit for food safety across 6 districts throughout the capital in order to ensure food cleanliness and quality.

Bangkok.mobile.foodAccording to BMA, 6 vehicles have been deployed to six areas of Bangkok designed to encouraging food vendors to be more attentive to food safety. The mobile units will use test kits to identify the amount of chemicals contained in the food and the results will be revealed quickly to help officials determine whether the food is safe enough for consumption.
