Jon and Kate plus 8: Dirty hands edition

Posted: March 24th, 2009 - 8:46pm by Katie Filion

Last night Amy and I tuned into the finale of Jon and Kate plus 8, hoping Jon’s rumored making out with college chicks would be addressed. It was not.

There were a few moments of footage where the Gosselin kids filled the doggie bowls with pet food. The little helpers were eagerly scooping the food and handling the bowls, and didn’t appear to wash their hands.

Pet food can become contaminated with Salmonella, so Kate should ensure her kiddies are washing their hands after handling pet food or treats.

Knowing Kate she most likely made her children wash their hands afterwards.(or use hand sanitizer) The kids washing their hands could have been just as eaisly edited out or maybe skiped to another scene. If you seen other episodes, kate is a VERY VERY big germaphobic person lol, and can't stand germs or dirt at all.

I use to love this show until this past year. Kate is enjoying the limelight and the $$$$, plus the kids are getting older and they just aren't as cute. This past year's shows seem to focus on taking them to a museum, etc., focusing on the event vs. the children interactions. This Go Green episode this past evening was lousy. Kate (controlling as we all know) moaned and groaned about being forced to go up and look at her new solar panels, etc., but as we all know Kate doesn't do anything she doesn't want to. She loves the attention. As we all know, she wants to continue the series for a 5th year and Jon doesn't want to. I probably won't watch anyway. It's just not that enjoyable any more.
